FAQs
Answers on longevity, aftercare, coloring, and how often to return for perm.
Results vary. Many guests find a perm lasts roughly 2 to 6 months, depending on hair type, condition, and aftercare. Your stylist can suggest a care routine that helps the shape hold as well as possible for you.
We usually ask you to wait about 48 hours before washing, so the curl pattern can set. Exact aftercare is confirmed at your appointment — please follow the guidance given for your treatment.
We generally recommend waiting at least two weeks before coloring after a perm, to give the hair time to settle. Timing can differ by hair condition — tell us your full plan so we can advise safely.
Soft scrunching or a diffuser often works well. Keeping heat styling light and occasional usually helps the curl pattern stay more resilient over time.
It depends on growth and the look you want. On average, waiting at least 3 to 4 months between perms is a common rhythm — your stylist will advise what suits your hair.
